DEVAE for remote developer teams
DEVAE gives remote engineering teams invite-only live rooms with screen and terminal sharing, a CLI for one-command pairing, and a shared feed of what everyone is building.
Remote teams do not lack meetings; they lack the two-minute "come look at this" that used to happen at a desk. DEVAE brings that back with live rooms you open from the terminal: devae room join, and your teammate is looking at your screen and your shell. No calendar invite, no link in Slack, no "let me share my screen" dance.
Rooms are invite-only by default and keep the context: the editor tab, the terminal, the conversation. Use them for pairing, for reviewing a PR with the author, for onboarding a new hire by letting them drive your environment, or for the incident where three people need to see the same logs right now.
What remote developer teams use DEVAE for
One-command pairing
devae room join <name> from the project directory. Screen and terminal shared with whoever you invite.
Learn more →Review together, line by line
Walk the diff with the author on voice. Remote cursors and comments land on the code, not in a thread.
Learn more →Onboard by pairing
New hire drives your environment in a room on day one. Faster than a wiki, and you find out what the wiki is missing.
Learn more →Snippets for the team
Share the deploy script, the debugging one-liner, the migration template. Collaborators can edit; everyone can fork.
Learn more →A feed of what the team shipped
Follow your teammates and see the week's work as posts instead of digging through PR lists.
Learn more →Works where your team works
Web, macOS, Windows, Linux and Android. Switch devices and the room comes with you.
Learn more →Open a room from your terminal
Install the CLI once, then pairing is a single command from the project directory. Screen and terminal are shared with whoever you invite.
npm install -g @devae/cli

Each engineer creates a free account and installs the CLI.
Agree on room names per project or service (refactor-payments, infra-oncall).
Replace "can you hop on a call" with devae room join.
Post shipped work to the feed so async teammates see it.
DEVAE is in open beta and free for individuals. No credit card, no waitlist.

DEVAE is in open beta and free for individuals. Teams that need private rooms with admin controls and priority support will be able to upgrade later.
Rooms are invite-only by default and nothing shared in a room is public unless a participant posts it to their feed.
It replaces the "screen share to debug" part of both. Keep your chat tool; use DEVAE rooms for the work that needs a screen and a terminal.
The web app works anywhere a modern browser does. Live rooms use standard WebRTC with TURN relay, which works through most corporate networks.
