Role areas
Engineering
Next.js, React Native, Electron and realtime infrastructure (WebRTC, presence, self-hosted Postgres). If you have shipped live collaboration before, we want to talk.
Product design
Motion-heavy, dark-first product design. You should be comfortable owning a surface end to end, from the feed to the desktop app.
Developer relations
Run rooms, hackathons and regional communities, write the engineering blog and represent DEVAE where developers already are.
What it is like
- Remote-first, async by default, a small number of live rooms a week.
- We use DEVAE to build DEVAE — reviews, snippets and rooms included.
- Ship small, ship often. Every release goes on the feed the same day.
- Open source at heart: the CLI, badge and community projects are public.
