Ruby on Rails on DEVAE
The Rails hub is small and experienced: mostly people who have shipped products with Rails for years, plus founders choosing it for a new company because one developer can move fast. Threads cover Hotwire and Turbo versus a JavaScript front end, background jobs, upgrading old apps, and the eternal question of how to keep a large monolith maintainable. Rooms are used for pairing sessions in the classic Rails tradition — share the terminal, run the tests, refactor together.
The Ruby on Rails hub →Developers in Sweden
Sweden has an outsized record of building consumer and music technology companies for its population, supported by strong universities and near-universal English proficiency. Stockholm dominates, working culture emphasises consensus and flat teams, and parental leave provisions shape how teams are staffed.
