Ruby on Rails on DEVAE
DEVAE's Ruby on Rails community is a free space where Ruby on Rails developers share what they're building, open live rooms to pair or debug, and find teammates. The Rails hub is small and experienced: mostly people who have shipped products with Rails for years, plus founders choosing it for a new company because one developer can move fast. Threads cover Hotwire and Turbo versus a JavaScript front end, background jobs, upgrading old apps, and the eternal question of how to keep a large monolith maintainable. Rooms are used for pairing sessions in the classic Rails tradition — share the terminal, run the tests, refactor together. Because Rails teams are often tiny, this is a natural hub for finding a co-founder or a second engineer; post with the collaboration flag and it appears on the find-teammates page. Public threads are indexed, so a good write-up on, say, a Rails 7 to 8 upgrade becomes a page the next team finds.

Questions
Yes. This page is the Ruby on Rails hub: it lists members who work with Ruby on Rails, their latest public posts, groups and open rooms. It is free to join and everything public here is visible without an account.
Post what you are working on with the Ruby on Rails tag, or open a live room and share your screen and terminal. Members who follow the tag see it in their feed, and the matchmaking page can pair you with people by stack and time zone.
It covers the same need with a different shape: instead of an invite-only server where conversation disappears, Ruby on Rails threads on DEVAE have public pages, profiles show real work, and rooms add voice, screen and terminal sharing.
Yes. DEVAE is free for individuals during the open beta — posts, rooms, profiles and the CLI included. Paid team features come later.
