Ruby on Rails on DEVAE
The Rails hub is small and experienced: mostly people who have shipped products with Rails for years, plus founders choosing it for a new company because one developer can move fast. Threads cover Hotwire and Turbo versus a JavaScript front end, background jobs, upgrading old apps, and the eternal question of how to keep a large monolith maintainable. Rooms are used for pairing sessions in the classic Rails tradition — share the terminal, run the tests, refactor together.
The Ruby on Rails hub →Developers in Argentina
Argentina exports software services out of proportion to its size, supported by free public universities, high English proficiency and a time zone that matches the United States. Repeated currency crises have made dollar-paid remote work the goal for most experienced engineers rather than a niche.
The Argentina hub →Pair on it, do not just post about it
