Ruby on Rails on DEVAE
The Rails hub is small and experienced: mostly people who have shipped products with Rails for years, plus founders choosing it for a new company because one developer can move fast. Threads cover Hotwire and Turbo versus a JavaScript front end, background jobs, upgrading old apps, and the eternal question of how to keep a large monolith maintainable. Rooms are used for pairing sessions in the classic Rails tradition — share the terminal, run the tests, refactor together.

Aarhus is Denmark's second city and a genuine software centre in its own right, with a university computer science department that has produced notable research and a cluster of product companies. Costs are lower than Copenhagen and the scene is small enough to be well connected.
