Kotlin on DEVAE
Kotlin on DEVAE covers both halves of the language's life: Android apps built with Jetpack Compose, and server-side work with Ktor or Spring. Multiplatform projects are a frequent topic, as are coroutines and the practical questions about structuring a codebase that mixes Kotlin with legacy Java. Rooms are useful for pairing on an emulator or a build problem, since you share the screen and the Gradle output rather than describing it.
The Kotlin hub →Developers in Helsinki
Helsinki's software economy carries a strong mobile and telecommunications legacy plus one of Europe's most successful games industries, and Finnish open source contributions have historically been outsized. Teams frequently work in English, and the market extends into neighbouring Espoo and Vantaa.
