Kotlin on DEVAE
DEVAE's Kotlin community is a free space where Kotlin developers share what they're building, open live rooms to pair or debug, and find teammates. Kotlin on DEVAE covers both halves of the language's life: Android apps built with Jetpack Compose, and server-side work with Ktor or Spring. Multiplatform projects are a frequent topic, as are coroutines and the practical questions about structuring a codebase that mixes Kotlin with legacy Java. Rooms are useful for pairing on an emulator or a build problem, since you share the screen and the Gradle output rather than describing it. Many members here also appear in the Android hub, so posting with both tags reaches the right people. If you are looking for a mobile teammate for a hackathon, a reviewer for a library, or someone to build the app side of a product you are starting, post with the kotlin tag and the collaboration flag and it appears on the find-teammates page.

Questions
Yes. This page is the Kotlin hub: it lists members who work with Kotlin, their latest public posts, groups and open rooms. It is free to join and everything public here is visible without an account.
Post what you are working on with the Kotlin tag, or open a live room and share your screen and terminal. Members who follow the tag see it in their feed, and the matchmaking page can pair you with people by stack and time zone.
It covers the same need with a different shape: instead of an invite-only server where conversation disappears, Kotlin threads on DEVAE have public pages, profiles show real work, and rooms add voice, screen and terminal sharing.
Yes. DEVAE is free for individuals during the open beta — posts, rooms, profiles and the CLI included. Paid team features come later.
