Kotlin on DEVAE
Kotlin on DEVAE covers both halves of the language's life: Android apps built with Jetpack Compose, and server-side work with Ktor or Spring. Multiplatform projects are a frequent topic, as are coroutines and the practical questions about structuring a codebase that mixes Kotlin with legacy Java. Rooms are useful for pairing on an emulator or a build problem, since you share the screen and the Gradle output rather than describing it.
The Kotlin hub →Developers in Bergen
Bergen's software work is tied to offshore energy, maritime operations and marine research, with a university adding scientific computing. It is Norway's second city but a small market, so remote roles for Oslo employers are a common arrangement.
