What is 2FA?

Two-factor authentication requires two forms of verification:

Something you know (password)

Something you have (phone/authenticator app)

Setting Up 2FA

Step 1: Enable 2FA

Navigate to **Settings** > **Security**

Click "Enable Two-Factor Authentication"

Choose your method: Authenticator App or SMS

Step 2: Authenticator App (Recommended)

Download an authenticator app:

- Google Authenticator

- Authy

- 1Password

- Microsoft Authenticator

Scan the QR code with your app

Enter the 6-digit code to verify

Save your backup codes in a safe place

Step 3: Backup Codes

You'll receive 10 backup codes. Each can be used once.

Store them securely (password manager recommended)

Use them if you lose access to your authenticator

Generate new codes after using several

Using 2FA

After entering your password, you'll be prompted for a 6-digit code from your authenticator app.

SMS Authentication

While convenient, authenticator apps are more secure. SMS can be intercepted.

If you choose SMS:

Select SMS as your 2FA method

Enter your phone number

Verify with the code sent via text

Lost Access?

If you lose your authenticator:

Use a backup code to log in

Go to Settings > Security

Disable and re-enable 2FA with a new device

Generate new backup codes

No backup codes? Contact support with:

Your email address

Recent account activity details

Photo ID for verification
