Swift & iOS on DEVAE
The iOS hub is where indie app developers, people at larger studios, and designers who code meet. SwiftUI dominates the conversation, with UIKit questions from anyone maintaining an older app, and recurring threads about App Store review, subscriptions, TestFlight and the yearly changes each WWDC brings. Rooms work well for pairing on a layout or an animation because you share the simulator and the code together, and for walking a newcomer through Xcode without a two-hour video call.

Plovdiv is Bulgaria's second city, with manufacturing investment and a small but real software services sector that benefits from costs below Sofia. The university supplies local graduates and remote work for Sofia or foreign employers is widespread.
