Shopify on DEVAE
Shopify developers on DEVAE build themes, custom apps and the integrations that connect a store to everything else a business runs. Threads cover Liquid and the newer Hydrogen stack, app extensions, the Admin and Storefront APIs, checkout customisation, and the operational side of running a store at volume. A lot of this work is freelance or agency work, so the hub doubles as a place to find a partner for a client project or hand off an overflow build.

Dublin is the European base for a large share of American technology and payments companies, which makes it unusually international: teams work in English, and a big portion of engineers moved here from elsewhere in Europe or further afield. Housing costs are the standing complaint and the main reason people leave.
