Redis on DEVAE

Redis members use it for the things it is genuinely good at — caching, rate limiting, queues, sessions, leaderboards, pub/sub — and the hub is where the design questions get answered: what to cache and for how long, invalidation, persistence and durability trade-offs, memory pressure, and when a queue should be something more durable instead. Threads tend to be short and specific, which suits the tool. Rooms are useful for walking through a cache-stampede or a memory-growth problem with the CLI shared.

The Redis hub covers everyone using Redis. This page narrows it to people whose day job is qa work, which matters when you want advice from someone with the same constraints.
