DEVAE's MongoDB community is a free space where MongoDB developers share what they're building, open live rooms to pair or debug, and find teammates. The MongoDB hub covers document modelling, the aggregation pipeline, indexing strategy, transactions and the operational side of running a cluster or Atlas. A lot of members arrived through Node and Mongoose, so there is a steady stream of questions about schema design in a schemaless database — which is where most of the real problems come from. Threads are practical: a slow aggregation, a migration plan, a decision about embedding versus referencing. Rooms help when you need to look at documents and an explain plan together. Post your model early; the hub is good at catching a design that will hurt in six months.
