Django on DEVAE
Django members on DEVAE are usually shipping products: SaaS back ends, marketplaces, internal tools and content sites where the admin alone justifies the choice. Threads cover the practical side — REST Framework versus newer options, async views, multi-tenancy, deployment, and how to structure a project past the tutorial stage. Rooms make it easy to pair on a migration gone wrong or a slow ORM query, with the shell and the database visible to both people.
The Django hub →Developers in Iceland
Iceland has a very small technology sector concentrated in Reykjavik, with gaming, fisheries technology, energy and data centres as recurring themes. Cheap renewable power attracted data-centre investment. English proficiency is high and most companies are small, so roles tend to be broad.
The Iceland hub →Pair on it, do not just post about it
Open a live room with voice, screen and terminal sharing and invite developers in Iceland. Rooms are invite-only by default and free during the beta.

No. The location is just a filter. Members work with people across time zones every day; Iceland simply makes it easier to find someone who shares your hours or wants to meet in person.
