Android on DEVAE
Android developers on DEVAE talk about Compose, architecture that survives a growing app, Play Console policies, background work and battery, and supporting the long tail of devices that iOS developers never have to think about. The hub overlaps with Kotlin and Flutter, so cross-posting with both tags reaches the right people. Rooms are the practical advantage: share the emulator or a physical device screen along with Logcat and debug together, which is far faster than trading stack traces in a thread.
The Android hub →Developers in Belfast
Belfast built a genuine specialism in cybersecurity and financial technology through Queen's University and a long run of inward investment, and it remains a common location for security operations and regulated-industry engineering. Costs are well below the rest of the UK and proximity to Dublin gives access to two labour markets.
