Android on DEVAE
Android developers on DEVAE talk about Compose, architecture that survives a growing app, Play Console policies, background work and battery, and supporting the long tail of devices that iOS developers never have to think about. The hub overlaps with Kotlin and Flutter, so cross-posting with both tags reaches the right people. Rooms are the practical advantage: share the emulator or a physical device screen along with Logcat and debug together, which is far faster than trading stack traces in a thread.
The Android hub →Developers in Aberdeen
Aberdeen's software demand comes almost entirely from energy: subsea engineering, drilling data, asset management and, increasingly, offshore wind. The work is specialised and often contract-based, and the local market rises and falls with energy prices more visibly than anywhere else in Britain.
